Okay, those of you who are Twilight fans like me will appreciate this post. My awesome husband shooed me out the door with my sister and a handful of girlfriends to see the much anticipated Twilight movie!! We had a BLAST!! I have to say right here, though - the movie was fun, but the book is better, no contest! Anyway, my friends (and fellow Twilight fans) Kirsten and Jennie and I started the night out going out to dinner at Old Chicago - (yum!), then we met up with my sister, Ashley, and my other good friend Lucinda and her sister-in-law at the theater. The atmosphere was probably the best part of the night. We went on opening night with all the other crazy fans, so every time a new character came on screen, or a favorite line from the book was quoted, everyone screamed! It was awesome!

The LAST Halloween post!
This is the last of the Halloween pictures - I swear! I just thought it would be illegal for me to post about Halloween and not show the kids in their costumes!

As you can see, Reese is Dora the Explorer, Cameron is Thomas the Train, Tristan a Transformer (Optimus Prime for those of you fellow Transformer fans!), and Becca is a mermaid. Tristan is purple-hair-guy, with his friends John-the-redneck, and Jeremiah-the-Baker. We had a fun multi-house party with friends where we did something fun at each house, then Trick-or-treated in each neighborhood. We had a lot of fun - We have great friends!
Finished jack-o-lanterns and witches brooms
Here are the finished products of our carving creations. Mine is supposed to look like Ernie from Sesame Street, Becca's is a witch, Trister's is a vampire, and there are a couple other assorted monsters in there that Tristan helped the little ones with too.
Now take a moment and marvel at the divine creations these mini witches brooms are. Go ahead... Ooh, and aah. At least I hope you will because I was up super late the night before my kids' Halloween parties making these cute, but very time consuming snacks! (By the way, if you ever want to try them out, they are pretzel sticks with pieces of fruit by the foot cut to make them look like brooms!)
When I grow up...
Wow, where does the time go??
Okay... So I'm obviously, painfully waaay behind with our blog here. I am going to try to do better. I'm trying to decide now if it would be better to just start with what's going on with us now or do a fast recap of the last several months I missed. Okay, I talked myself into it, we're doing a recap! So here goes!

Here we are going for a ride on Thomas the train in September for Cameron's 3rd birthday. He was in heaven! And even though this event is totally geared for 3 year old Thomas the train fans, we all had a great time just being together and I swear I tear up a little every time we go on these things as I watch the sheer joy in the kids' faces!

Our Labor Day tradition - Watching Hot Air Balloons!
Okay, I know it is waaay past Labor Day, but I'm doing my best here! I'm not used to this blogging thing yet! =) Anyway, as you can probably tell from the title, we go to the Balloon Classic here in Colorado Springs every year with our family at the crack of dawn to watch hot air balloons inflate and take off. It's one of our favorite traditions. So I always take a million pictures, so I have PLENTY to share!

Here we are at the Balloons - aren't we cute?
Trister, Cam, and Becca.
We had donuts for breakfast while we were waiting for the balloons to start blowing up - can you tell?
Cameron was a little annoyed that he had to turn his attention away from the balloon to pose for a picture!
This point of view makes you feel like you are really there.
